This month (20th) marks the beginning of Spring and the countdown to every "red-blooded" American's most favorite calendar date: April 15th. Worst than the IRS you do know that hurricane season is right around the corner. Where oh where does time goes? To some of you my introduction to this month's Prez's column might sound a little gloomy, but here's what I'm leading up to.

In our daily lifestyles we deal with lots of agendas. Most of us have lurking in the back of our minds events and calendar dates that we're keeping tabs on although we wished we didn't have to deal with them. (Gentlemen, do you know what day your wife's wedding anniversary is falling on this year? Let's see is it August 18th 0r 19th?) On the other hand there are some dates we never forgetlike payday and Christmas.

If you're managing a studio you know how important it is to keep abreast of dates and times. That's why you maintain several types calendars to eliminate important dates from being overlooked. Well, if you're a PPGF member we don't want you to forget important events and dates coming up this year that are going to effect your professional growth as a photographer. If you haven't gone to www.ppgf.com lately then you're missing some of the awesome features and updates Webmaster Tom Collins has recently introduced to the site. "Chocked-full-of-goodies" is all I can say. One of the features that Tom has added is our 2006 Calendar.

Of course, you know that we meet every 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Art Institute in room 417, but in case you want to know in advance what speakers/programs are coming up that information is there too. This is handy online stuff that you can transfer to your personal calendar so you can effectively manage your personal and professional agendas.
