Make Beautiful Digital Art Using Photoshop PDF Print E-mail

Sandra Pearce
September 15th in Hollywood

It's always a thrill when we have a talented speaker with an international reputation. Even better, when they live and work in our back yard it is a real honor to have them come and share with us their photography methods. Join us Wednesday evening, September 15th, for successful digital artist Sandra Pearce. She promises to show us how she takes a painting from concept to print.

Sandra Pearce headshot Sandra's passion is painting and her goal is to share her love of painting by teaching her techniques to others. Learn to paint beautiful expressive paintings from your digital photographs with Sandra's instruction and guidance. You'll learn how to unleash your creativity on the digital canvas and how to balance control and structure with improvisation and freedom of expression.

This class will teach you how to make a beautiful art piece using Photoshop. Sandra has been drawing and painting for most of her life. She taught traditional art classes for ten years before finding the joy of painting digital art. Sandra feels photographers already have a working knowledge with the tools used in Photoshop; and her course will enable you to concentrate on the techniques of painting and not have to learn a new program.

Sandra will teach you how to prepare your image for painting and guide you through the steps to capture the feelings of your subjects on canvas. You will learn about using filters to enhance your images; which will give you a starting place for painting that will expand your personal artistic self-expression and speed up the process.

Directions to PPGF PDF Print E-mail

The PPGF meets on the third Wednesday of each month (January through November). The programs take place at the Jaycees building.
DIRECTIONS - IMPORTANT!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY! Due to the weird location of the Jaycees building, you will not be able to make an accurate Internet map (which may show it on the wrong side of Hollywood Blvd)! But if you change the Google map from Street or Map view to Sattelite view and look at the streets and building close up, the directions below will make sense. For your map search use "Hollywood FL railroad museum", look on the south side of the Blvd. at the second building.
